This week's online service is delivered by our Parish Assistant Kirsteen. We draw upon Mark 6:10-11 to explore what it means to leave it and shake it off. We hope that God's word brings you comfort in these challenging times. God Bless you.

Week beginning: Sunday 17th January 2021

Dear friends,

We do hope that you are all keeping safe and well negotiating how to avoid the virus, cope with the isolation of another lockdown and navigate your way through the snow and, at times, very dangerous black ice.

There is no doubt this is a very challenging season for us all but we cling to the truth that God is in control and we are so grateful to know our Lord and Saviour does not change, our circumstances may, but he remains the same and we can bring him our fears and sorrows.

During this period of lockdown and beyond, it is important that we know that we are not alone and please remember that those in the ministry team are available anytime, simply for a chat or to pray with you. This is always in confidence.

You may have a specific prayer need or want to share good news. Please do not hesitate to contact them via phone, text or email. (details below)

As you are aware we are back to providing online services and our thanks go to Douglas and Kirsteen who, for the next few weeks, will be exploring ways to bring praise, scripture, teaching and prayer to you.  We all desperately miss the act of corporate worship and for those of us at home it has been a delight to have the Sunday service available to view.  Please do subscribe to the YouTube channel...there is no cost involved, it will simply allow you to know when each new service is available.

This week the title of Kirsteen’s talk is titled “Shake it off”.

Although there is so much difficulty and anxiety at this time we take the time to mark the times of celebration in the lives of our church family members.

Congratulations to Jennifer MacLaren who celebrated her birthday on Monday, 11th January; to Katherine Nicol who celebrated her birthday also on Monday, 11th January; to Jean McGregor who celebrated her birthday, Wednesday, 13th January; to Collette Doherty who celebrated her 28th birthday on Friday, 15th January; and to Mattie Hainey who celebrated her birthday on Saturday, 16th January.

Many Happy Returns to you all!
