This week marks the beginning of Christian Aid week. Throughout the world Christian Aid are continuing to respond to the needs of many in places such as Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. As with everyone else they are adapting their fundraising efforts by having on-line events including a daily quiz and live streaming worship events.
Christian Aid will also be offering an ‘e-envelope’, to help people share the Christian Aid Week story with family and friends, and ask for a donation. Fuller details are available on their website.
We continue to mark the milestones in the lives of our church family members and wish to say many happy returns to Marie Nicolson who celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, 5th May; and to May Anderson who celebrates her 79th birthday today, Sunday, 10th May. Many congratulations to each of you!
We continue to pray daily for our church family, their families and those in the community for continued health and strength to deal with the challenges of life in lockdown.
If you are feeling low or struggling in any way please do not hesitate to contact either Douglas, Kirsteen or Naomi simply to talk or for prayer. All calls/texts/emails will be treated in complete confidence. Please do not struggle alone.

OUR
MINISTRIES
As a Church we minister with people in many different ways.
Explore the different ministry areas we offer below to find out a bit about what we do and what to expect if you want to come along. If you have any questions we would love to speak to you so just give us a call.

Children
We minister to children and families with different events and programs.
We meet as a Sunday School Club weekly on a Sunday morning, meet weekly as the Hot Chocolate Club, hold Messy Church every 2-3 months, and host family outings to all kinds of exciting places. We are also soon to start a Parents and Toddlers group! You're sure to find something that you and your children will enjoy!
Contact our Children and Families Worker if you would like to know more about what we can offer your family.
Youth
Our youth ministry meet every fortnight (weekly if there are special events happening). It is open to all young people, in S1-S4 (recently increased to S6) living in the Greater Pollok and neighbouring areas.
No need to book, just pop along and feel welcomed.
We enjoy a variety of activities and regular outings/trips.

Life and Faith Group
The Life and Faith Group meet fortnightly, and are currently working through the Daniel Plan. The Daniel Plan centres on Christian principles, and promotes a healthy lifestyle across areas of Faith, Food, Fitness, Focus (mind), and Friends.
We invite you to join us as we explore this together.

Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals
We would always like to hear from you if you are interested in Baptisms/Christenings, getting Married, or looking for someone to officiate a funeral.
We hope to be there to support, encourage, and share in both the highs and lows of life with you.

Healing Ministry
As a church we have been offering Christian Healing Ministry to people in our community, and beyond, for over 25 years!
We have a Healing Service once a month, where we worship together, share testimony, and you can have someone pray with you for spiritual, physical or emotional healing for either yourself or someone you know.

Bible Study
Our new Bible Study is led by our Parish Assistant, Kirsteen and our Session Clerk, Douglas MacLaren.
We promote a warm, inviting and laid-back atmosphere in this group. This is not about who knows what or who knows more. The goal is to discover more about God, and allow Him to encourage and shape us through His Holy word. A great way to learn more!
